Identities

In addition to the login and password, website registration often requires other information, such as first and last name, date of birth, email, phone number, and so forth. To store such detailed information, Kaspersky Password Manager uses a special set of accounts called identities.

Standard entry fields are provided in Kaspersky Password Manager to form an identity.

If you need to store other data that is not covered by the available entry fields for identities, you can use a different data type: notes.

One personal data record and up to 10 bank cards and bank accounts can be added to a single identity.

You can create several identities, for example, to separate your business and personal data.

Kaspersky Password Manager replaces financial data with asterisks in the list of identity data. This is done to prevent unauthorized persons from seeing your identity data on the screen while you view them.

You can securely copy the contents of identities and use them in applications or on websites by using the clipboard.

If you also use Kaspersky Password Manager for Microsoft Windows or Mac OS X, under these operating systems Kaspersky Password Manager can automatically insert content from identity fields into the fields of a website or app.

You can add, edit, or remove identities.
