The game SHEEP DOG N' WOLF cannot be installed
on your computer's hard disk.
You can play it directly from your CD. If the
Autorun function fails to start the game, double-click Workstation, then
double-click the SHEEP DOG N' WOLF icon once again. The game's general menu
will then appear, through which you can:
· Play the game
· Configure the game's parameters
· Establish a link with the Looney
Tunes games site offered by Infogrames and then access the Internet Infogrames
site.

5.Possible problems and solutions:
a) Problem with Nvidia GEFORCE 2
card (with all drivers since the 6.005 version):
Description: White and/or black flashes may
sometimes appear frequently on the screen at several game levels. The animation
may also sometimes be jerky.
To solve the problem: In order to avoid the
above-mentioned problems, connect to the Internet and type in the following
address: http://www.hercules.fr and then
find the driver reference 7.52, which will help you solve these problems.
b) Problem in general maneuverability on some keyboards:
Description: It is impossible to move "up
left" and "up right" in the "sneak" mode when this
action is parameterized on the "Ctrl" key.
To solve the problem: Change the key configuration and
use some other configuration of keys with which the problem does not occur.
c) Functionality:
Description: If you have configured the “Shift”
key for one of the actions called for in the game SHEEP DOG N' WOLF, it may
cause certain problems, particularly unexpected return to your Windows desktop.
To solve the problem: Close all open applications
properly before starting a game of SHEEP DOG N' WOLF (in particular "word
processors" like Word, for example). If you do so, you will have no
complaints of any interference from Windows that show you messages that are not
linked to the game, but to other applications…
Problem: whatever the resolution you
use to play "Sheep Dog n’ Wolf", if your default display parameters
are set to 32 bits, the bumpers (animated logos) that appear on screen before
the game begins (cf.: Infogrames logo and identification logo of the game
production team) are displayed very slowly and the sound and image are not
always synchronized.
Solution: You have to set your
display parameters to 16 bits in order to resolve this problem. Double-click on Workstation, then on Control
Panel, then on Display and, finally, select the tab Settings, which will
provide you with access to the Colours option. Here, you should select High
Colour (16 bits).
Problem: If your computer is
equipped with the video adapter Matrox G450, we recommend you avoid the
following resolution: 1280x1024 (32 bits) as the game will be very slow.
Solution: We recommend
the following resolution: 1024x768 (32 bits).
Problem: If your computer is
equipped with the video adapter Voodoo II (8MB), make sure you launch the game
with the resolutions specific to this card: 800x600 and 640x480. If not, you
will hear a beep and the screen will turn black whenever the game is launched.
Solution: Do not launch the game
with this card when resolutions are superior to 800x600.
Warning: If your computer is
equipped with the graphics adapter RADEON, you should be aware of the graphical
problems that may randomly appear during gameplay in the T&L (Texture &
Lighting) mode.
Warning: It is impossible to hold
down the up/left diagonal and jump keys at the same time when using the Mitsumi
brand keyboard. All the other key combinations work correctly.
Windows 95:
It is possible that the videos of
this game will not run correctly under Windows 95.
If you cannot see the videos and you are running the
game under Windows 95, you should run the program named IV5SETUP.EXE, in the
folder named INDEO on the game CD. This program will install the necessary
files to make the game run correctly.
Problem: When a previous DirectX8 is
already installed on your PC, the launcher will not start and/or an error
message appears.
Solution: Install
DirectX8 directly from the “Sheep Dog n’ Wolf” CD-Rom.
Install\dxsetup.exe.
Problem:
the game crashes systematically when removing or re-inserting a controller
connected to the USB port.
Solution: Avoid removing the game
controller connected to the USB port during the game.
WARNING:
When using the key combination ALT + TAB (return to Windows) some video adapters can cause a system error
which will terminate the game.
d) Updating Your Drivers
If you're having any GRAPHICAL problems with Sheep Dog N’ Wolf -- before
contacting the consumer support -- please make sure that you have the latest
version of the driver file for your video card. To check this, RIGHT-CLICK on 'My Computer' on the Desktop and
select 'Properties'. Select the 'Device
Manager' tab and click on the little plus sign before 'Display Adapters'. You will now see the name of your video
card. Select it and click on the
'Properties' Button, then select the 'Driver' tab, and finally click on the
'Update Driver' button. You may need to
visit the web site of your video card manufacturer to find and download the
most recent version for your video card.
This is a normal part of maintenance of your home PC and is recommended
to be done 2-4 times per year. Below are some of the most common web sites for

Il gioco RALPH IL LUPO ALL’ATTACCO non si deve installare sul disco del
vostro PC.
Potete giocare direttamente dal CD. Se l’AutoPlay non fa partire
automaticamente il gioco, cliccate due volte sulle Risorse del computer, quindi
sull’icona di RALPH IL LUPO ALL’ATTACCO. Dovreste veder apparire il menu
principale del gioco, che vi permette di:
· Giocare
· Configurare i parametri di gioco
· Creare un collegamento al sito che presenta
i giochi Looney Tunes proposti da Infogrames, oppure al sito Internet di

5. Possibili problemi e relative soluzioni:
a) Problema
con la scheda Nvidia GEFORCE 2 (con tutti i driver dalla versione 6.005 in
avanti):
Descrizione: possono apparire frequentemente sul video dei
lampi bianchi e/o neri in diversi livelli del gioco. Può anche capitare che
l’animazione proceda a scatti.
Risoluzione: collegatevi a Internet e visitate l’indirizzo http://www.hercules.fr per procurarvi il
driver di riferimento 7.52, che dovrebbe risolvere tutti i problemi citati
prima.
b) Problema generale di giocabilità con certe
tastiere:
Descrizione: è impossibile avanzare in alto a sinistra o a
destra quando si preme il tasto dello spostamento di soppiatto, se quest’ultimo
è il tasto Ctrl.
Risoluzione: cambiate la configurazione della tastiera e
sceglietene una che non presenti il problema citato.
c) Funzionalità:
Descrizione: se assegnate il tasto MAIUSC a qualche azione di
RALPH IL LUPO ALL’ATTACCO, potrebbero verificarsi dei problemi, soprattutto il
ritorno inatteso a Windows.
Risoluzione: chiudete tutte le applicazioni aperte prima di
iniziare a giocare a RALPH IL LUPO ALL’ATTACCO (soprattutto gli editor ed
elaboratori di testi, come per esempio Word). Così facendo, non vi capiterà di
far apparire messaggi eventualmente generati da altre applicazioni, e non dal
gioco.
Problema: qualunque risoluzione si usi per giocare
a “RALPH IL LUPO ALL'ATTACCO”, se si è scelta la visualizzazione a 32 bit di
colore, i logo animati (come quello di Infogrames e quello della squadra di
sviluppo) che appaiono prima di iniziare a giocare e certi elementi di
animazione vengono visualizzati molto lentamente e possono verificarsi problemi
di sincronizzazione con alcune immagini ed effetti sonori.
Soluzione: per risolvere questo problema, è meglio
configurare la grafica per 16 bit di colore. Procedete così: cliccate due volte
su Risorse del computer, quindi su Pannello di controllo, poi su Schermo;
selezionate il foglio Impostazioni e impostate 16 bit di colore (65536 colori)
alla voce Tavolozza dei colori.
Problema: se il vostro PC monta una scheda video
Matrox G450, vi consigliamo di non giocare alla risoluzione 1280 x 1024 con 32
bit di colore, perché il gioco sarà lentissimo.
Soluzione: vi consigliamo la
risoluzione 1024 x 768 con 32 bit di colore.
Problema: se il vostro PC monta una scheda video
Voodoo II con 8 MB, è meglio avviare il gioco con una risoluzione adatta a
questa scheda (800 x 600 o 640 x 480), altrimenti alla partenza lo schermo
diventerà nero e si sentirà un bip di avviso.
Soluzione: non fate partire il gioco con questa
scheda scegliendo risoluzioni superiori a 800 x 600.
Avviso: se il vostro PC monta una scheda grafica
RADEON, tenete conto che la modalità T&L (texture & lighting) può
provocare dei problemi grafici occasionali durante il gioco.
Avviso: usando una tastiera Mitsumi, è impossibile
usare contemporaneamente la diagonale in alto a sinistra e saltare. Comunque,
le altre combinazioni di tasti funzionano senza problemi.
Windows 95:
Su Windows 95, è possibile che la risoluzione video
predefinita non venga riconosciuta. Se non si vede alcuna immagine, basta
lanciare il programma IV5SETUP.EXE, che si trova nella cartella del CD-ROM
chiamata INDEO e installa tutti i file necessari. A installazione finita, il
gioco funzionerà normalmente.
Problema: se sul vostro PC è installata una
versione di DirectX inferiore alla 8, il gioco non si avvia e viene
visualizzato un messaggio di errore.
Soluzione: installare
DirectX 8 dal CD-ROM di " RALPH IL LUPO ALL'ATTACCO ".
Install\dxsetup.exe.
Problema:
il programma si blocca sistematicamente quando si collega o si stacca una
periferica di gioco da una porta USB.
Soluzione: non collegate né staccate periferiche
di gioco USB durante l’esecuzione del programma.
ATTENZIONE: con alcune schede grafiche, l’utilizzo
della combinazione di tasti ALT + TAB (per tornare a Windows) può provocare un
errore di sistema e l’uscita forzata dal gioco.
d) Aggiornamento dei driver
Nel caso in cui si presentassero problemi GRAFICI con RALPH IL LUPO ALL’ATTACCO,
prima di contattare il servizio clienti assicuratevi di avere l'ultima versione
del driver della vostra scheda video. Per controllare, CLICCATE COL PULSANTE
DESTRO del mouse su 'Risorse del computer', sul desktop, e selezionate
'Proprietà'. Cliccate sulla scheda 'Gestione periferiche' e quindi sul piccolo
segno più (+) che si trova davanti a 'Schede video'. Vedrete comparire il nome
della vostra scheda video. Selezionatela, cliccate sul pulsante 'Proprietà' poi
la linguetta 'Driver' e infine cliccate sul pulsante 'Aggiorna driver'.
Potreste, comunque, aver bisogno di visitare il sito web del produttore della
scheda, per scaricare la versione più recente del driver. Si tratta di un
normale accorgimento per tutti i PC e andrebbe messo in pratica 2-4 volte

3. Comment jouer au jeu Une Faim de Loup :
Le jeu Une faim de Loup ne s’installe pas sur le Disque Dur de votre ordinateur.
Vous pouvez y jouer directement à partir du CD. Si l’Autorun ne lance pas le jeu, double-cliquez sur Poste de Travail puis double-cliquez de nouveau sur l’icône Une Faim de Loup. Ensuite, vous verrez apparaître le menu général du jeu dans lequel vous pourrez :
· Jouer au jeu
· Configurer les paramètres du jeu
· Etablir un lien avec le site présentant les jeux Looney Tunes proposés par Infogrames, puis accéder au site Internet Infogrames.
· Installer DirectX8.0a au cas où vous ayez une version antérieure de DirectX.
· Effacer les sauvegardes ou configuration.

5.Problèmes possibles et solutions pour y remédier :
d)
Problème avec la
carte Nvidia GEFORCE 2 (avec tous les
pilotes depuis la version 6.005) :
Description : Il peut se produire que des flashs blancs et / ou noirs apparaissent fréquemment à l’écran dans plusieurs niveaux de jeu. Il se peut aussi que l’animation en général soit saccadée.
Résoudre le problème : De manière à éviter les problèmes mentionnés ci-dessus, connectez-vous sur Internet et tapez l’adresse suivante : http://www.hercules.fr et récupérez le driver référencé 7.52 qui permettra de résoudre ces désagréments.
e) Problème de maniabilité générale sur certains claviers :
Description : Il est impossible d’avancer en direction « haut gauche » et « haut droite » en mode « furtif » lorsque cette action est paramétrée sur la touche « Ctrl ».
Résoudre le problème : Changer la configuration des touches par une autre configuration dans laquelle le problème ne se posera plus.
f) Fonctionnalité :
Description : Si vous attribuez la touche « Maj » à l’une des actions de Une Faim de Loup, cela peut provoquer quelques problèmes et notamment des retours inopinés sous Windows.
Résoudre le problème : Bien fermer toutes les applications ouvertes avant de démarrer une partie de Une Faim de Loup (et notamment les applications de type « éditeur de texte » comme Word par exemple). De cette façon, aucun retour sous Windows ne sera à déplorer présentant des messages qui ne sont pas liés au jeu mais à d’autres applications…
Problème : Quelque soit la résolution choisie par vous pour jouer au jeu Une Faim de Loup et si vos paramètres d’affichage sont réglés en 32 bits par défaut, les bumpers (ou logos animés) présentés (cf : Logo de la Société Infogrames et logo d’identification de l’équipe qui a réalisé le jeu) avant le démarrage du jeu sont affichés mais de façon très lente et des problèmes de synchronisation peuvent survenir entre image et sons.
Solution : Mieux vaut-il configurer vos paramètres d’affichage en 16 bits pour corriger ce problème. Pour ce faire, double-cliquez sur Poste de Travail, puis sur Panneau de Configuration puis ensuite sur Affichage et Sélectionnez ensuite l’onglet Paramètres qui donne accès à l’option Couleurs. Dans cette partie, choisissez Couleurs (16 bits).
Problème : Si votre ordinateur est équipé de la carte vidéo suivante :Matrox
G450, nous vous conseillons d’éviter la résolution suivante : 1280*1024 en 32 bits car le jeu est très lent.
Solution : Nous vous conseillons donc la résolution suivante : 1024*768 en 32 bits.
Problème : Si votre ordinateur est équipé de la carte vidéo suivante : Voodoo II (8Mo), bien lancer le jeu avec les résolutions propres à cette carte : 800*600 et 640*480 sinon le lancement du jeu sera suivi d’un Bip sonore et ensuite d’un écran noir.
Solution : Ne pas lancer le jeu équipé de cette carte dans des résolutions supérieures à 800*600.
Avertissement : Si votre ordinateur est équipé de la carte graphique suivante : RADEON, attention le mode T&L peut provoquer des problèmes graphiques constatés de façon aléatoire au cours du jeu.
Avertissement : Avec un clavier de marque Mitsumi, il est impossible
d’effectuer la combinaison de touche suivante : diagonal haut/gauche et de
sauter en même temps en même temps. Cependant les autres combinaisons
fonctionnent correctement.
Windows 95:
Sur Windows 95,
il est possible que le format de vidéo utilisé ne soit pas reconnu par défaut.
Si vous ne voyez pas les vidéos sous Windows 95, exécutez le programme IV5SETUP.EXE
qui se trouve dans le répertoire de votre CD-Rom nommé INDEO. Celui-ci
installera les fichiers nécessaires et le jeu marchera normalement.
Description : Si une version antérieure à DirectX 8.0 est
installée sur votre PC, un message d’erreur s’affichera au lancement du CD.
Résoudre le problème : Il faut que vous
installiez la version 8.0 de DirectX présente sur le CD. Pour cela, cliquez
droit sur l’icône du lecteur de CD-Rom, choisissez Ouvrir, Puis cliquez sur
Install\dxsetup.exe.
ATTENTION : Sur
certaines cartes graphiques, l’utilisation de la combinaison de touches ALT +
TAB (pour revenir à Windows) peut provoquer une erreur système et quitter le
jeu.
Problème : Le jeu fige
systématiquement lorsque l’on retire puis réinsère une manette connectée en
port USB.
Solution :
Eviter de retirer votre manette de jeu connectée en USB pendant le cours du
jeu.
d) Mise à jour de vos pilotes.
Si vous rencontrez des
problèmes graphiques avec Une Faim de Loup, avant de contacter notre service
technique, assurez-vous que vous disposez de la dernière version du pilote de votre
carte graphique. Pour ce faire, cliquez avec le bouton droit de la souris sur
"Poste de travail" sur le Bureau et sélectionnez
"Propriétés". Sélectionnez ensuite l'onglet "Gestionnaire de
périphériques" et cliquez sur le petit signe + qui se trouve devant
"Cartes graphiques". Vous verrez alors apparaître le nom de votre
carte graphique. Sélectionnez votre carte et cliquez sur
"Propriétés", puis ouvrez l'onglet "Pilote" et enfin,
cliquez sur le bouton "Changer de pilote...". Vous devrez alors
peut-être vous rendre sur le site web du fabricant de votre carte graphique
pour trouver et télécharger la version la plus récente du pilote de votre
carte. Cette procédure fait partie de l'entretien normal de votre PC et devrait
être faite 2 à 4 fois par an. Vous trouverez ci-dessous les adresses des sites

5. Mögliche Probleme und
Problembehebung:
a)
Problem mit der Karte Nvidia GEFORCE 2 (mit
allen Treibern seit Version 6.005):
Problembeschreibung:
Möglicherweise erscheinen bei mehreren Levels des Spiels weiße und/oder
schwarze Blitze auf dem Bildschirm. Es kann auch sein, dass die Animation an
sich beeinträchtigt ist.
Problembehebung: Um
die genannten Probleme zu vermeiden, verbinde dich mit dem Internet und gib
folgende Adresse ein: http://www.hercules.fr.
Lade von dieser Webseite den Treiber 7.52 herunter. Mit diesem Treiber lässt
sich das Problem beheben.
b)
Probleme bei der allgemeinen Handhabung,
wenn mit bestimmten Tastaturen gespielt wird:
Problembeschreibung:
Es ist nicht möglich, im Modus "Schleichen" in die Richtungen
"links oben" und "rechts oben" zu gehen, da die Strg-Taste
mit dieser Aktion belegt ist.
Problembehebung:
Ändere die Konfiguration der Tasten so, dass sich dieses Problem nicht mehr
stellt.
c)
Funktionalität:
Problembeschreibung: Wenn du die Umschalttaste mit einer der Aktionen von SHEEP DOG N' WOLF
belegst, kann es zu Problemen kommen, z. B. unter Windows zu einem
unerwarteten Abbruch des Spiels.
Problembehebung:
Stelle sicher, dass alle offenen Anwendungen geschlossen sind, bevor du ein
Spiel von SHEEP DOG N' WOLF startest (das gilt insbesondere für
Textverarbeitungsprogramme wie z. B. Word). So verhinderst du, dass das
Spiel unter Windows abgebrochen wird und Meldungen erscheinen, die nicht das
Spiel, sondern andere Anwendungen betreffen…
Problembeschreibung: Wenn die Farbtiefe auf Ihrem
PC standardmäßig auf 32 Bit eingestellt ist, werden unabhängig von der
Auflösung, die Sie für SHEEP DOG N' WOLF gewählt haben, die vor dem Start des
Spiels angezeigten Bumper (bzw. animierten Logos) – Logo von Infogrames und
Logo des Entwicklerteams – nur sehr langsam aufgebaut und es können Synchronisationsprobleme
zwischen Bild und Ton auftreten.
Problembehebung: Sie sollten die Farbtiefe auf 16
Bit einstellen, um dieses Problem zu vermeiden. Doppelklicken Sie hierzu auf
"Arbeitsplatz", "Systemsteuerung" und dann auf
"Anzeige". Wählen Sie die Registerkarte "Einstellungen",
auf der Sie die Farbtiefe ändern können. Wählen Sie unter "Farben"
die 16-Bit-Farbeinstellung aus.
Problembeschreibung: Ist auf Ihrem Computer die
Grafikkarte Matrox G450 installiert, sollten Sie die Auflösung von 1280x1024 bei
32 Bit vermeiden, da in diesem Fall das Spiel nur sehr langsam läuft.
Problembehebung: Wählen Sie
die folgende Auflösung: 1024x768 bei 32 Bit.
Problembeschreibung: Ist auf Ihrem Computer die
Grafikkarte Voodoo II (8 MB) installiert, starten Sie das Spiel mit der dieser
Grafikkarte entsprechenden Auflösung von 800x600 und 640x480. Sonst ertönt nach
dem Starten des Spiels ein Signalton und der Bildschirm wird schwarz.
Problembehebung: Starten Sie das Spiel bei dieser
Grafikkarte nicht mit einer Auflösung, die 800x600 überschreitet.
Warnung: Ist auf Ihrem Computer die Grafikkarte
RADEON installiert, kann der T&L-Modus (Texture & Lightning) während
des Spiels gelegentlich Probleme mit der Grafik verursachen.
Warnung: Auf einer Tastatur der Marke Mitsumi
können Sie die folgende Tastenkombination nicht ausführen: diagonal nach
oben/links und gleichzeitig springen. Die anderen Tastenkombinationen
funktionieren einwandfrei.
Windows 95:
Unter Windows 95 wird
das verwendete Videoformat möglicherweise nicht standardmäßig erkannt. Wenn Sie
die Videos unter Windows 95 nicht anzeigen können, führen Sie das Programm
IV5SETUP.EXE aus, das sich im Verzeichnis Ihrer CD-Rom unter INDEO befindet.
Dieses Programm installiert die erforderlichen Dateien und das Spiel läuft
ordnungsgemäß.
Problembeschreibung: Ist auf Ihrem PC eine frühere
Version von DirectX8 installiert, wird das Startprogramm nicht gestartet
und/oder es erscheint eine Fehlermeldung.
Problembehebung: Installieren Sie DirectX8 von der CD-ROM des Spiels SHEEP, DOG
N' WOLF.

Problembeschreibung: Das Spiel
friert systematisch ein, wenn Sie den an den USB-Port angeschlossenen
Game-Controller entfernen und dann wieder anschließen.
Problembehebung: Vermeiden Sie, den
Game-Controller während des Spiels zu entfernen.
Warnung: Benutzung der Tastenkombination
ALT + TAB (zu Windows zurückkehren) kann bei
gewissen Grafikkarten einen Systemfehler herbeiführen und das Spiel beenden.
d) Aktualisierung der Treiber
Falls irgendwelche GRAFIK-Probleme beim Spielen von Sheep Dog N’ Wolf
auftreten, vergewissere dich bitte -- bevor du den Kundenservice kontaktierst
-- dass du die aktuellen Treiber für deine Grafikkarte installiert hast. Klicke
dazu mit der rechten Maustaste auf das Icon "Arbeitsplatz" auf dem
Desktop und wähle "Eigenschaften". Klicke dann auf den Kartenreiter
"Geräte-Manager" und anschließend auf das Pluszeichen vor
"Grafikkarten". Der Name deiner Grafikkarte wird nun angezeigt.
Klicke ihn an und klicke dann auf die Schaltfläche "Eigenschaften".
Klicke nun auf den Kartenreiter und schließlich auf "Treiber
aktualisieren...". Eventuell musst du die Website des Herstellers deiner
Grafikkarte aufsuchen, um die aktuelle Treiberversion zu finden oder
herunterzuladen. Du solltest dies zwei- bis viermal pro Jahr durchführen, um
deinen PC immer auf dem neuesten Stand zu halten. Nachfolgend findest du einige
