INTRODUCTION

Game interface Navigation
The up and down arrows on the keyboard will highlight the buttons on the interface.

Hitting enter will select the highlighted action.

Clicking the backspace key will move you to the previous screen except on the main menu where it will quit the program.

Clicking the Esc key at any time will instantly quit the program.

During gameplay pressing the P key will pause the game and allow you to change characters,

Playing the game
When you start the game you will be presented with the main menu screen.as seen
below.

There are three game play modes, a game options selection and quit button. To choose any of the modes use the up and down arrow keys on your keyboard. When the mode you want is highlighted press the enter key.

One Player
Choosing one player mode will put you into the character select mode where you will select your game character. As before using the up and down arrows on your keyboard will highlight the character you wish to be and enter will move you to the next screen where you select the AI character you wish to fight. In one player mode you will always be player 1 and the computer will be player 2.

If you enter the game in one player mode you will be using the keyboard for character control by default. ( if you have a gamepad or joystick see the Game Options for configuring it.)

Two Player
In two player selection process is the same. Select player one hit enter, select player two and press the enter key, select the arena to play in and hit enter.

In two player mode you must have at least one gamepad or joystick connected. ( see Game Options for configuring your gamepad. )

Computer Vs. Computer
This mode is fairly self explanatory. You can watch how the AI players fight against each other.

Game Options
Set various game settings:

  1. Toggle character shadows on or off. ( Recommend no shadows for slower machines )
  2. Choose high or low resolution characters. ( Recommend low resolution characters for slower machines )
  3. Choose fight difficulty.
  4. Configure a joystick or gamepad.

Quit
Quits the program.
